The Stetro is advertised as useful for both right and left-handed children. However, when reversed for a left-hander the thumb marking puts the thumb forward as compared to the right-handed orientation. If you use this gripper with a lefty, teach the child to keep the thumb on the back part of the grip or on the pencil behind the grip rather than placing it in the thumb indentation.
The “gum ball” shape has indentations for pointer tip, side of middle finger and for the thumb. See full description for use with left-handers.
