The plastic shape has indentations for pointer tip, side of middle finger and for the thumb and can be used for left and right handed pupils.
The solo is a relatively inexpensive grip that actually does serve both left and right handers. The new Crossover Grip is probably more effective, but the Solo is less expensive and can get the job done with patient coaching.
